Greetings.
2016 and I'm going 20 this year. An apology for none because it's been months since my last post and this page is kinda forgotten. At least for me. Hehe. Surprise for you because I'm finally back and got my mood to write again. Well I guess enough for the intermezzo.
I don't know what 2016 has bring you because it's still the 4th month of the year. The older your age, the more you will experience things.
I see, almost everyday, collegian at my faculty are tired with their own activity. Doing college task(s), organization activity, part time work, until chasing lecturer for their thesis. Well the last one seems tiring. I tends to be apathy but...I just know.
How about me? I was drown into this organization things, or perhaps it is just me drowning myself a little too deep because I didn't know the depth before.
It is me, never been able of being a busy person before. I know it's nothing than my friends or a lot people out there and this one is not me whining and grouching because it's over, at least for couples of day. But it engendered some pains and it remains. But we have to be grateful rite?
Driving is a way to keep me sober. By driving it means with the audio on, and dozens of  good albums of course. And mark this, I live in Semarang where the traffic is fine. I even sometimes enjoyed traffic jams which is rarely happen here.
Quoting from Beats Apart by Alanda Kariza & Kevin Aditya, "Perhaps traffic jam can be attributed as the modern-day counterpart of contemplating beneath the shade of an apple tree" and yes there's no better words to explain why I enjoy traffic jam.
And I read lately. Crazy how I really addicted to read and makes me realize that I've waste my life, like, how many great books passes for me to read? What have I done with my life before?
Anyway, now I'm with B that sometimes I think that we're just both two different pole magnet trying to get together, but it somehow works. Sometimes I just hate that he's far.
Well, this 4months of 2016 has taught me that sometimes when you want or need something, you only need to ask. Don't keep it yourself.

Some shadows are demands to be shown

High neck or as I formerly known as turtle neck is one of my favorite items since I was in junior high school. This year when this high neck is back to trend and many shops sell this kind of outfit, I ordered some heehee and this one from Retail Therapy is the best purchase I've done so far. Anyway if you following my blog since the beginning and if you notice, Retail Therapy is also one of my favorite place to shop because they have a loooott of cool stuffs (basically I love winter outfit and they're selling outerwear, sweaters, coats so...we click!). I personally recommend you this local brand. What's not to love from them?

The floppy hat came from family stuff . You guys could get them in a very affordable price.

So what's the relation between the title and this post?

I only want to say to the girls all around the world, that we don't need to create "an image" too much in public. Once you create an image, you will be slipped there and it will be harder to get up and show your true self. Shadow here means your flaws, your past whether it's good or bad, etc. People will judge you anyway.

"Actually, you don't have to cover it all because time reveal."

Time can do anything.

Why'd you try to be somebody else

...when you could be yourself?
As time goes by and new people keep coming up to your life; whether they only "recognize" you or they know you as their relation that we called friend, I understand that there are some reasons why people try to be someone else, or become a copycat, or what-so-ever you name it.
We live a life where all this technologies surrounds us. By the technologies evolving, there come these crucial thing for social life called social media (yes, blame it all to social media it's so sacred we can't live without it). It's the biggest influence in our social life nowadays, no?
It facilitate us to reach many information; in this case, fashion trends. However, the negative side affects us a lot; the standard of become a-girl-to-be-admire, fashionable, a fashion-forward becomes slightly boring, then there goes this stereotype of  girl-to-be-admire or in Bahasa we called it "Kekinian", "Hits" or something like that oh cmon you know you got what I'm trying to spell out here. It's a kind of peer-pressure in a big range.
For example, this "monochrome" trend that everyone try to dress in monochrome. No, it's good. I adore those people who consistence and the style is really who they are, but not for those person who grab the style only to catch attention, and they will leave that ashamed behind.
There is also this reason: they don't really know you but she thinks you're cool enough that she need to "compete" with you in persistence and become better than you or just...become slightly you. I don't have to explain you in this case.

People busy representing their life as perfect as it could be in social media that they forget to improve their quality in real life.Their attitude, their heart (what?). Well it's also a self-reminder for us, for me.
Please, fix your personality. I can't imagine how Alexa Chung or Kendall Jenner deal with this haha but I think they don't really mind but it bother me.
Doesn't it good to express your disappointment as something positive than just lying down in your bed and getting upset all the time.... Haha don't get me wrong I don't really mad at this because I laughed too hard when I realized this kind of thing. It really made my day, for sure.

Well, people. In real life, I'm socially awkward. That becomes a behavior and that get worse every single day. It's such a minor culture-shock (in my own hometown) (yes I know it's weird). It started out from the first semester and getting worse this whole semester. Poor me? No. I'm the one who could save my condition, get me out from this situation but I still don't know where to start.

So, guys, all I wanna say is, being yourself is such a crucial thing that you have to do whenever and wherever you are. It's not only a teen-quote, believe me. Never have a bad-thought at the beginning of anything. Don't worry of people will accept you or not, just let everything flow. Because if you're doing the opposite, it will end badly. Even worse that you've worried before.

My awkward face because I didn't know that my friend already pressed the shutter button but it turns out to be the best pose. Look at those baloons! At least it can make me happy until tomorow.

Friday Stroll

Good Afternoon people. Weekend comes along and have you prepare your weekend look?

Well I suggest you to try this look: misty jogger pants from COLORBOX's sport collection and some sleeveless top that come from Friday to Sunday to deal with the heat. I picked this comfy pants so I don't have to worry to wear it in this season because it's much more comfortable instead of jeans (did I mention comfortable too much?). Dark color helps to conceal my huge thighs. So, it's a basic must-have item right?

Just made it casual because it was hot outside and so I could move freely. Because believe me when it comes to hangout with close friend(s), I can't handle to do some silly gesture. Pointy flat shoes will pop this look, without lessened it's comfort. But btw, don't forget to add final touch like: accessories. Of course it's from NATIVE, local brand by me hehe.

Uniquely Summer

Good day, readers!

Have I tell you that I attended the last Semarang Fashion Festival on March 16? No? So here I tell you:)) But first I would like to apologize to the superb late post because I'm in the middle of hectic days and deadlines are waiting to be done by next week. This (2nd) college life start to seems interesting anyway.

Back to the topics. I was invited by COLORBOX to see their latest S/S collection, along with Delami Brands. Their theme for this season is Uniquely Summer which represent their collection well.

COLORBOX, which basically provide apparels with teenager as the main target of marketing has always succeeded to touch my heart with their basic pieces. Who doesn't need basic pieces rite? We all need to invest in basic pieces so it just click all at once to me. 

In this season they released summer collection without removing their concept. With some touch of flowers as headpieces, fancy printed tees and purse, also any other apparels that surely will attract you for this summer. But don't worry they still have those pretty sweaters and basic stuffs you need in their outlets. Let's see how the show was!

 Well I highlighted this look (above) from the first time I saw it because it's just soooo pastel and me likey!

Overall, it's a great collection with good concept show and I'm just overwhelmed with these outfits. Ok I'm ran out of words. Enter their store and I could die by second. Their pastel color really suitable for summer. For you guys who like to have monochrome outfit or maybe you would like to have a gloomy day with gloomy outfit, don't worry. They released them too in a cheerful way (see above). From daily outfit till late-night parties, it's hype!
